Clinical Pharmacist (Independent Prescriber) | London, Kings Cross | Hybrid
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 11am to 8pm Weekend shifts: Two per month, 8am to 5pm (day in lieu given) Hours: 40 hours per week Location: Three days on-site at Kings Cross, two days remote

As a Clinical Pharmacist Independent Prescriber you will provide safe, effective and personalised treatment to patients with a wide range of clinical needs. Collaboration is central to how we work. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the development of clinical pathways, supporting patient and staff education, and playing an active part in driving better treatment outcomes in one of the most rapidly evolving areas of modern healthcare.
Key responsibilities
- Clinically check and review CBPM prescriptions for safety and accuracy.
- Prescribe medicines as an Independent Prescriber, tailoring treatments to individual patient needs.
- Provide expert guidance to prescribers and patients on treatment options.
- Maintain accurate patient records in line with GPhC standards.
- Support the dispensary team by handling complex clinical queries.
- Deliver education and training on CBPM to patients, clinicians, and staff.
- Collaborate with the wider team to streamline processes and improve outcomes.
What we are looking for
- GPhC registered pharmacist with an Independent Prescriber (IP) qualification
- At least 2 years prescribing experience
- Experience working in a clinical setting
- Knowledge of CBPM is desired not essential or willingness to undergo specialised training
- Clear and confident communicator across clinical and non-clinical settings
- Highly effective at managing time and prioritising competing demands
- Proactive and resourceful when identifying and resolving problems
- Well‑organised, detail‑oriented, and able to manage complex workflows
