Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Elective Orthopaedics Specialty, for a full-time, permanent, Band 6 Service Manager. We are looking for a pro-active, dynamic, experienced manager with excellent communication, organisational, administrative, waiting list and staff management skills with a proven track record of working in a demanding and fast paced environment. The postholder will be responsible for ensuring effective operational and strategic planning, development and management of the EO surgical services to ensure compliance with national waiting time targets. To achieve this the postholder will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of Divisional Managers, Consultants, Nurses and Admin Teams to ensure the effective delivery of Trust, Directorate and Team objectives.
