Job: Deputy SENDCO

Aston Education is looking for a Deputy SENDCO with QTS for an Ofsted Good 11-16 secondary school in Lambeth, South London.
They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional who can bring both expertise and creativity to the SEND provision.

Qualifications, skills and experience required:
10. SENCO experience from a mainstream secondary setting
11. English or History teacher with QTS or you can offer another academic subject
12. Strong knowledge and practical experience of interventions and strategies across the four areas of need (Communication & Interaction, Cognition & Learning, SEMH, and Sensory/Physical)
13. Confident with technology
14. Experience in coordinating and managing exam access arrangements
15. Hold Assessor accreditation for access arrangements
16. The ability to establish and maintain positive professional relationships with parents and carers
