We are delighted to be working with a family owned motor engineering company in the Cowfold area (West Sussex) who are actively seeking to recruit an experienced Bodyshop Technician with a versatile skill set – able to paint / fabricate and experience with panel beating.
My client are a Classic Car specialist and have are proud to have a long history for repairing classic cars and providing high quality classic and vintage car repairs and restorations.
Working with a friendly team, you will need to be ready for a challenge to exceed customer expectations and deliver your best. Attention to detail is crucial.
What this role involves:
* Painting any repaired vehicles
* Experience with fabrication and Panel Beating
* Checking correct paint colour and use of spray out card for all colours
* Setting the oven temperature, air pressure and time
* Applying the appropriate fillers and stoppers
* Paint preparation and mixing
* Roller and paint spray priming
* Completing quality control
* Ordering paint for parts when needed
The skills you will need:
* Being able to work well in a team
* High level of attention to detail
* Previous experience as a Painter / Fabricator
* Use to working to deadlines, and producing quality workmanship
* To have a valid UK driving licence
