Salary Up to £37,000
Excellent opportunity for an experienced, qualified candidate to join the team in one of our children's residential homes. We are a rapidly expanding organisation offering a very competitive salary, benefits including a bespoke training package and generous remuneration for sleep‑in shifts. We specialise in supporting Children and Young People who have suffered early life trauma, neglect or abuse and may display challenging behaviours.
The main duties of this role include:
* Ensuring shifts are planned with Residential Support Workers
* Managing all risks safely in line with company policies and procedures
* Communicating effectively with the team regarding the plans for the day
* Providing reports and documentation that reflect the progress of the young person using our paperless systems and tools
* Reviewing the young people's care plans and other associated documentation
Job requirements:
* Provide positive parenting
* Have exceptional communication skills
* Have a sound working knowledge of current legislation (e.g., Children’s Homes Regulations 2015, including quality standards)
* Be open‑minded, empathetic, calm and professional
Essential Requirements
* Must have a full manual driving licence
* Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent
* Participate in continuing professional development to support the needs of our young people
* Have a clear passion and desire to support children and young people
* Be an active member of a progressive and committed team
