An exciting career development opportunity has arisen for an individual to join NHS Tayside’s Resuscitation Team on a fixed term/secondment for 23 months. The Resuscitation Team provides a comprehensive mandatory education and training programme for all clinical staff from basic to advanced courses and develops consistent and effective approaches to managing deteriorating patients. This is a dynamic post for an experienced healthcare professional to improve care and outcomes for patients and ensure high standards of care.


Responsibilities

* Lead and contribute to the delivery of resuscitation education and training for clinical staff (including ALS-related instruction).
* Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives and promote consistent approaches to managing deteriorating patients.
* Collaborate with the Resuscitation Team and travel across NHS Tayside as required.


Qualifications

* Registered healthcare professional (e.g., NMC, HCPC).
* Advanced Life Support (ALS) Instructor qualifications (or working towards them).
* Proven leadership, teaching and communication skills; passion for education, quality improvement and patient safety.


Details

* Hours: 18.5 hours per week.
* Contract: Fixed Term/secondment for 23 months.
* Location: Based at King’s Cross Hospital with travel across NHS Tayside.
