Senior Engineer - Drianage/Highway
Location: Guildford (Hybrid)
I am working with a consulting client that supports public and private sector organisations in the planning and delivery of development schemes. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Senior Engineer to join their team and contribute to the successful delivery of infrastructure and development-led projects.
This is a hybrid position based in Guildford, offering a balance between office collaboration and remote working.
The Role The Senior Engineer will play a key role in project planning and execution, applying technical expertise to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading the design and delivery of development-focused engineering projects
* Preparing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies
* Designing and analysing infrastructure solutions using AutoCAD and MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage
* Managing projects to ensure programme, budget, and client expectations are met
* Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders
* Presenting technical information clearly to clients, planning authorities, and other third parties
Candidate Requirements
* Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
* Strong technical background with project delivery experience
* Demonstrable experience producing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage
* Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
