A global payments FinTech is looking to strengthen its Commercial team by hiring a driven and analytical Data Analyst.

Role Summary
* As a Data Analyst, you will work closely with commercial, product, and data teams to analyse payments data, build reporting solutions, and support strategic initiatives.
* You will help the business better understand customer behaviour, revenue performance, market trends, and operational efficiency.
* You’ll gain exposure to senior stakeholders while developing strong technical and commercial skills in a high-impact environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse large volumes of payments data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities
* Build and maintain dashboards and reports to support commercial and product decision-making
* Support the development of data models and structured datasets for analytics and reporting
* Work with stakeholders to understand business questions and translate them into data analysis tasks
* Assist in maintaining data quality, integrity, and consistency across reporting systems
* Support ad hoc analysis for commercial strategy, pricing, customer performance, and revenue tracking
* Collaborate with engineering teams to improve data accessibility and reporting automation
* Contribute to continuous improvement of internal analytics tools and processes
Required Skills & Experience
* Recent graduate (or graduating soon) in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in SQL
* Experience with Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis
* Basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis (desirable but not essential)
* Understanding of data visualisation principles
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work with structured datasets
* Clear communication skills with the ability to explain insights to non-technical stakeholders
