In this role you will oversee the 24-hour security operation of the Park ensuring that we comply with policies and legislation at all times. A key member of the wider operations management team and a champion for driving a positive security culture across the Park. You will provide specialist communication, safety & security advice to the Park and implement pro-active measure-to-improve security standards. KEY OBJECTIVES Manage all aspects of the Park Security Day Operation and Site Security Team On a rostered basis work a combination of day, evening, and night shifts to as required by the business. Support the Park by taking on daily duty roles of Incident Co-Ordinator and Incident Manager on a rostered basis. Ensure all department documentation is regularly reviewed, and that sufficient training and assessment is provided. Ascertain the need for, and facilitate the delivery of, external training such as; FAW, SIA, Control & Restraint, ACT & SCAN. Work with the Head of Department to ensure the Park has major incident/crisis response and business continuity plans in place for Security related incidents. Create and manage labour and operating expenses budgets, continuously looking for ways to make efficiencies, whilst maintaining safety standards. Work with the Head of Department to develop and deliver Capex projects to continuously improve the department. Build collaborative stakeholder relationships with key contacts in the emergency services, responsible for devising Private Hire, to support Operations in key operational peak periods. Maintain and develop the Security Risk Assessment for the site, identifying risks, controls and further works needed. Ensure park procedures are enforced consistently and fairly and the Security staff deal with conflict in a personable and consistent manner. Work closely with First Aid and the Park’s Operations Management Team, to ensure a joined up and cohesive approach to Incident Response. Ensure that all Security Search detail, incidents, and occurrences are accurately recorded and appropriately escalated and reported. Maintain 24hr security cover for the Park and ensure a robust on-call procedure is in place.
