We are seeking a senior Head of Health and Safety to lead and shape our safety agenda. This is a pivotal role responsible for driving excellent safety standards across a diverse portfolio, ensuring compliance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement the company's Health and Safety strategy across all projects
* Promote a strong, positive safety culture on site and within teams
* Ensure adherence to all relevant UK legislation and industry standards
* Provide expert guidance and influence senior leadership and operational teams
* Monitor safety performance, manage risk, and drive ongoing improvements
Qualifications
* Hold relevant Health and Safety qualifications and ideally be a Chartered Member of IOSH (CMIOSH), or working towards this status
* Proven leadership experience within construction safety
* Deep knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and industry best practices
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
* A strategic thinker with a hands‑on approach and construction sector experience
