Position
Renal Unit, Maidstone. 37.5 hours per week.
Role Overview
We are looking for an individual who is eager to learn, has a kind and caring attitude towards patients and colleagues and can be a positive team member. Within this role you will be looking after patients who have a chronic condition who attend the unit three times a week. We will provide the in‑house training you require to safely carry out your role in dialysis which includes specific dialysis training and further development opportunities within your role.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing haemodialysis care to renal patients on a daily basis, including fluid management, recording observations, daily weights, intravenous medication, pressure sore prevention, vascular access care and diabetes management.
* Working closely with the multidisciplinary team, which includes Dieticians, Access team, AKC nurses, Counsellors, Renal Care Navigator, Renal Registrars, Renal Consultants and Transplant nurses.
