Real Estate Finance Lawyer International Law Firm - London
A premier international law firm is continuing the strategic expansion of its highly regarded London Real Estate Finance practice and is keen to speak confidentially with talented associates across the 2–6 PQE range.
This market-leading team advises on a broad spectrum of sophisticated domestic and cross-border real estate finance transactions, including investment finance, development finance, portfolio financings, restructuring matters and complex structured finance deals. The practice regularly acts for major financial institutions, private equity sponsors, debt funds, investors and borrowers on some of the most high-profile and technically challenging matters across the UK and wider European markets.
The group has built an outstanding reputation for combining top-tier technical execution with a genuinely commercial and collaborative approach to client service, and is consistently recognised in the legal directories for the strength and depth of its real estate finance offering.
Importantly, this is a genuine growth hire rather than a replacement position. The firm has ambitious long-term plans for the practice and anticipates making multiple associate hires over the coming year as deal flow and client demand continue to increase.
Associates joining the team can expect:
• Exposure to a broad mix of lender-side and borrower-side mandates across a diverse client base
• The opportunity to work on complex, high-value and often international transactions from an early stage
• Strong cross-border collaboration with highly respected US and European offices
• A lean and entrepreneurial team structure allowing for excellent partner exposure and greater responsibility
• A collegiate and supportive culture with a genuine emphasis on mentoring, development and technical training
• Access to a high-quality institutional client base and market-leading transactions
• Clear progression prospects within a growing and well-invested practice
The firm is particularly interested in candidates who:
• Have between 2–6 PQE in real estate finance from a well-regarded law firm
• Possess strong academic credentials alongside solid transactional experience
• Are technically confident whilst also commercially minded in their approach
• Can clearly articulate the detail, structure and commercial rationale behind matters they have worked on
• Have experience advising lenders, borrowers or ideally both across a range of financing transactions
• Thrive in collaborative, fast-paced and client-facing environments
England & Wales, Irish, Australian and New Zealand qualified candidates will all be considered.
This opportunity would suit ambitious associates looking to join a genuinely growing platform offering high-calibre work, strong career development prospects and the chance to play a meaningful role within a highly respected international practice.
