Finance Manager | Stockport | Up to £55,000 | 9 Month FTC A PE-backed support services business is seeking a proactive and hands-on Finance Manager to join its team on a 9-month fixed-term contract. Based in Stockport, this role is office-based (5 days a week), with some flexibility considered. It's a great opportunity to take ownership of core finance processes in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Responsibilities Lead the month-end close and produce accurate management accounts Oversee payroll processing and liaise with external providers Manage invoicing and billing cycles, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Support budgeting and cash flow forecasting Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations Collaborate with operational teams to improve financial processes About You Qualified or QBE accountant Strong experience across month-end, payroll, and billing High attention to detail and strong Excel skills Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities This is a great opportunity to step into a broad finance role with real ownership and visibility.
