Job Title: Principal Engineer – Computing and IT (Network)

What You’ll Be Doing
* Lead the development of IT design solutions to agreed time, cost and quality in accordance with project or business milestones
* Support the development and management of requirements and acceptance criteria specific system or product and/or across a system of systems, platform
* Produce documentation required to support the design review process, including: diagrams; technical specifications; supporting calculations; design evidence and justifications
* Ensure network design proving evidence is comprehensive, captured within the requirements management tools and has been endorsed by the appropriate level of authority
* Ensure compliance against contractual requirements and that work is undertaken in accordance with company, safety, environmental, contractual and local business processes, standards, procedures and documentation
Your Skills And Experiences
* Proven track record of network infrastructure systems design
* Experience in an enterprise, industrial or defence IT environment
* In depth knowledge of at least one of the following disciplines:
o Design and deployment of complex network solutions
o Internet Protocol telephony solutions
o WLAN – wireless networking solutions
o Fibre Optical network design
