Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker
Salary £42, £45,158.40 per annum – Based on 12 shifts (including sleeps) per month.
For those not wanting to work 12 shifts per month the ability to work only 10 shifts per month with appropriate adjustment.
Location: Across the PCS portfolio, Accrington, Bury & Rochdale areas

Our children and young people receive support from a small team of incredible Registered Managers and Support Workers who strive to engage, motivate, and instil confidence and life skills aiming for the best possible outcomes for them.
Job Description
Due to expansion Prosperity Children's Services have vacancies for Senior Residential Support Workers who are on a career path to Registered Manager.
At PCS we are on a growth journey that will see us doubling the size of our portfolio of Residential Children's Homes in the next 12 to 18 months and we want you to join us on our journey.
We are offering a unique opportunity for Senior Residential Support Workers to join us on our unique Leadership Development Program, providing the training, tools, mentoring and support to achieve Registered Manager in one of our stunning Residential homes.
As a Senior on our Learning and Development Program, you will benefit from leadership and management training, mentoring and specific training sessions covering therapeutic practice, HR and a range of specifically focused development sessions to support your career to Deputy Manager and on to Registered Manager.
Prosperity Children's Services is committed to the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare of all children and young people in our care. All staff have a key role and responsibility in this area.
The successful candidates will have:
* A good understanding of the Children's Home Regulations and Quality standards
* A good understanding of the Ofsted process and good knowledge of all current Children's Legislation
* Some knowledge around the needs of children and young people with EBD/SEMH/CSE and the support services required to ensure their needs are fully met.
* Strong communication skills with an ability to lead on shift.
* Good character and integrity with resilience that matches the demands of this challenging role.
Essential Requirements:
* Level 3/4 Diploma or equivalent in Children and Young People's Workforce
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Flexibility to work on a rota basis including sleep ins.
* At least 2 years' experience in the Residential Children's Services sector or have worked in a similar setting working with children with challenging behaviour is desirable.
* At least 1 years' experience of leading shifts in a children's residential setting is desirable.
* You must undertake our Crisis prevention institute training. This training provides you with fundamental knowledge around understanding trauma, de-escalation techniques, communication skills and safety interventions, inclusive of restrictive holds.
