We are currently recruiting for an admin officer based in Maghaberry. The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork, ANI clearance has been completed.
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months with a possibility of extension
Rate of pay: £13.75
Hours of work: 9 to 5 Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Mailbox Maintain filing systems Manage Prisoner files Collect the post Stores orders Secretariat – agendas and minutes for meetings including weekly PSS meetings, monthly strategic meetings, hot and cold debriefs, Rule 32 meetings, Serious Case Reviews and Senior Officer Meetings Daily Safety Check database DPA Requests CAB Maintenance
Monthly Strategic Stats Samaritan Phones / electric Razors Audits Admin Safer Custody Call Logs Trim Management General Office Management and Housekeeping Orderly Duties Listener Rotas Liaising with trades / PDU / PHC / Mental Health team etc. as necessary Any other Admin Duties required for the needs of the business
Essential Criteria applicants must have:
Proof of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths grade C or above or the equivalent to this.
Excellent IT skills, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Excellent communication skills.
Proven ability to use own initiative.
