We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements
* Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategies
* Develop and maintain dashboards using tools such as Tableau and Power BI
* Assist in the design and implementation of database solutions, ensuring optimal performance with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server
* Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by providing input during all phases of development
* Create detailed project plans and manage timelines to ensure successful project delivery
* Utilise programming languages such as R and Python for advanced data analysis tasks
* Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders
* Employ analysis skills to evaluate business processes and recommend improvements
* Use Visio for process mapping and documentation
Qualifications
* Proven experience in business analysis or a related field
* Strong knowledge of SQL for database querying and manipulation
* Familiarity with database design principles
* Proficiency in VBA and Bash (Unix shell) for automation tasks is advantageous
* Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
* Strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to convey complex information clearly
