Psychiatric Rehabilitation Band 3 Occupational Therapy Clinical Support Worker
This is an exciting opportunity to join the occupational therapy team within the Margaret Duguid Unit at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital working in complex mental health rehabilitation. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and hard‑working individual to join our friendly team.
Responsibilities:
* Work with people to motivate and inspire them to develop skills and interests that they can build and develop during their inpatient stay and into the community.
* Support the development of patients' skills and interests.
* Provide professional supervision, training and development as integral to the service.
* Work well as part of a team with strong communication skills and a range of interests.
Qualifications and requirements:
* PVG Scheme membership or record for the relevant regulatory group (child and/or adult). If not a current PVG member, an application must be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before beginning in post.
* Legal permission to work in the United Kingdom, as required by the UK Visa and Immigration Service.
* Be aware of potential changes to criminal records checks from 1 April 2025, which may affect the level of check required for regulated roles.
Employment details:
* This is a part‑time position; salary will be pro‑rata.
