Building Safety Manager required with NEBOSH qualification to property manage building safety across several sites in Essex and Kent. Working Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm (37.5 hours) on an annual salary between 45,000 - 48,000 depending on experience.
Main office base will be Romford in Essex, or Dartford in Kent.
Duties:
* Lead building safety across sites
* Ensure that planned and preventative maintenance is carried out
* Engage with internal staff and external contractors to ensure roles are performed in accordance with Fire Regulations
* Manage FRA - Fire Risk Assessments through to completion
* Ensure all contractors and staff work in accordance with rules and regulations
* Manage cleaning staff, and contract servicing, such as PAT testing, fire checks
* Deal with mould and damp complaints

Experience required:
* NEBOSH certification is essential
* Facilities management, Health and Safety, HSEQ experience is desirable
* Fire Safety qualification is desirable
* Experience in managing fire safety and FRA - Fire Risk Assessments is desirable
* Previous experience managing a small team is essential
* Ability to organise a busy and varied workload, remain calm under pressure, and proactive in approach to tasks
* PC literate with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills
* Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
