We are currently recruiting for enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to work in a range of secondary schools in the Corby area. We work with a number of supportive and well-regarded schools who require reliable supply staff for daily cover, short-term placements, and long-term roles.
The Role
As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure students remain engaged with their learning in the absence of the regular teacher.
Key Responsibilities
1. Delivering lessons across your subject specialism or general cover
2. Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
3. Ensuring a positive and productive learning environment
4. Following school safeguarding and behaviour procedures
5. Providing feedback to the school at the end of the day
Requirements
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
7. Experience teaching in UK secondary schools (preferred)
8. Strong classroom management skills
9. Flexible and professional approach
10. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
