We are partnering with a prestigious Family Office to hire a Property Manager to oversee a high-value residential portfolio. The role will support the Property Director in the day-to-day management of both family-occupied and tenanted properties, ensuring they are maintained and presented to the highest standards. Many of the properties within this portfolio are Grade I and Grade II listed buildings!
This is a broad position that will involve close coordination with household staff, the Executive Office, and external contractors to deliver a seamless experience for the principals, family, and guests. Responsibilities will span planned and reactive maintenance, from conducting regular property inspections and managing contractors through to ensuring all works are completed efficiently and to exacting standards. You will also oversee compliance with health and safety, insurance, and landlord obligations, ensuring all records remain fully up to date. Alongside family-occupied properties, you will manage a portfolio of Assured Shorthold Tenancies, working with agents and tenants to optimise rental income, minimise voids, and maintain properties appropriately. This will include negotiating new tenancies, managing renewals, handling maintenance issues, and building strong relationships with tenants and local stakeholders.
The role also carries a strong reporting and efficiency focus, working closely with the Property Director to produce regular updates for the principal, refine procedures, and identify opportunities to enhance service quality. You will be responsible for compiling and managing your own work in progress, reviewing this regularly with the Property Director, as well as managing utility accounts and suppliers to ensure competitive tariffs are secured.
We are looking for academically strong candidates with prior experience in high-end residential property management, ideally with exposure to both family-occupied and rental portfolios. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders are essential. This role will suit someone proactive, professional, and able to operate with discretion in a fast-paced and high-standard environment.
The Family Office offers the top salaries in the market and generous bonuses. This will be based in their London office, which offers fully catered breakfast / lunch / snacks, gym and barista. They have a collaborative culture and the opportunity to work on some of the top Real Estate assets globally.
