The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Veterinary Specialist and Business Development Manager to lead our veterinary strategy and oversee enterprise group management, inbound sales, and customer success across our UK and US markets. The BDM will be the voice of the veterinary profession within Modeus, ensuring our products and services meet the evolving needs of our customers. This role requires a unique blend of clinical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Direct Customer Engagement: Actively build and nurture relationships with veterinary practices and enterprise groups across the UK and US. You will be the primary point of contact for key clients, understanding their needs and demonstrating how our solutions can solve their challenges.
* Solution Implementation and Training: Work directly with veterinary teams to implement our products and provide hands-on training to ensure successful integration into their daily workflows.
* Sales & Demos: Lead product demonstrations and sales presentations, leveraging your clinical expertise to showcase the value of our technology. You will be responsible for meeting individual sales targets and contributing to the overall growth of the business.
* Client Support: Provide expert-level support to our customers, working with our support team to assist in troubleshooting technical issues and offering clinical guidance as needed to ensure customer satisfaction and success.
* Market Insight & Feedback: Be our eyes and ears in the field. Gather feedback from veterinarians and their teams to help inform future product development and marketing strategies.
* Clinical & Industry Insight: Act as a key internal and external advocate, providing crucial insights into veterinary trends, clinical workflows, and industry regulations. You'll represent Modeus at conferences and industry events.
* Product Development Collaboration: Work closely with the product development team to translate market needs and customer feedback into compelling product features and enhancements. 💡
Qualifications
* Experience as a practicing veterinarian, with a deep understanding of veterinary practice operations and workflows.
* Proven track record in a senior leadership role, with experience in sales, business development, or customer success within the veterinary or animal health industry.
* Strong business acumen and a strategic mindset.
* Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to travel internationally for meetings, conferences, and client engagements.
