Job Title: Civil Estimator (Contract) Location: Nottinghamshire (Client Site) ️ Sector: Major Infrastructure Projects Employer: Leading Civils Contractor Software: Causeway Estimating Suite Contract Length: Initial 3 Months (Potential Extension Based on Tender Success) Rate: £450/day Outside IR35 About the Role: We're recruiting for a Civil Estimator to join a respected civils contractor on a contract basis, working on major infrastructure projects in Nottinghamshire. This is a site-based role, offering hands-on involvement with the client and project teams during a critical phase of tendering and delivery. The initial contract is for 3 months, with the potential to extend depending on the outcome of the tender process. Key Responsibilities: Develop and submit accurate cost estimates for civil engineering works. Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tender documentation. Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and client representatives. Use Causeway software to produce and manage estimates. Assess subcontractor and supplier quotations. Contribute to bid strategy and tender submissions. Ideal Candidate: Experienced Civil Estimator with a background in infrastructure or civils. Proficient in Causeway estimating software. Strong foundation in civil engineering, ideally with site or project delivery experience. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
