Personal Tax Manager
Location: KT area
Sector: Private Client Tax
Salary: £75,000-£85,000pa
TPF Recruitment are delighted to be working with a long‑standing, highly regarded accountancy practice based in the KT area. Due to continued growth, they are looking to bring a Personal Tax Manager into their successful private client team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced private client tax professional who thrives on delivering both compliance and advisory services to a prestigious client base of high‑net‑worth individuals, including UK and non‑UK domiciled clients.
The Role
* Reviewing personal tax returns prepared by consultants and providing technical guidance
* Advising on estate planning, inheritance tax planning, wealth structuring and domicile matters
* Spotting opportunities for restructuring clients’ tax affairs and discussing these with the Partner and client
* Acting as a trusted point of contact for clients, alongside the Partner
* Handling HMRC tax investigations when required
Requirements
The practice is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable individual who is both technically strong and a confident communicator. You should be able to deliver accurate advice to a demanding client base and manage workflows in a busy environment.
* CTA qualification with at least 5 years’ post‑qualification experience
* A proven track record of working with complex UK and non‑domiciled HNW clients
* Strong technical knowledge across personal tax planning and advisory work
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and deliver to deadlines
* Strong IT skills and a willingness to embrace new technologies
