Your Role
You will provide design and CAD support across a variety of marine fire suppression projects, working closely with project managers and clients.
Key responsibilities include:
8. Producing a wide range of drawings and documents, including pipework schematics, P&IDs, equipment datasheets, and pipework hydraulic and flow calculations
9. Developing designs in line with client specifications and the latest marine (SOLAS) regulations
10. Interpreting technical specifications, approval authority rules, and regulations
11. Supporting project managers with design deliverables
12. Using AutoCAD (2D) and, ideally, hydraulic calculation packages
13. Applying a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
Requirement
14. HNC/HND or Degree in Engineering (or equivalent background)
15. Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D); hydraulic calculation experience is an advantage
16. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
17. Based in our Manchester office (Onsite role)
18. Full security clearance required
