Commercial Manager
Salary: £55,000-£75,000 + benefits
Location: Kent (hybrid working with UK travel)
Employment: Full Time, Permanent

Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving commercial strategy, managing key client relationships, and supporting long-term business growth.
The Role
As a Commercial Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day commercial function, ensuring financial and operational success across the business. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align offerings with client needs, provide commercial insight, and implement robust governance across all commercial activities.
Commercial Manager Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement commercial strategies, pricing, and governance frameworks
* Manage contract drafting, review, and negotiation for enterprise clients
* Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and profitability across projects and services
* Support bids, tenders, and proposals to secure new business opportunities
* Build and maintain strong client, supplier, and partner relationships
* Lead, mentor, and develop the commercial team, fostering a high-performance culture
* Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Technical, and Service Delivery teams to deliver client solutions
* Provide commercial insight and reporting to the board, influencing strategic decisions

Commercial Manager Requirements:
We’re looking for a commercially-focused professional who brings:
* 5+ years’ experience in a commercial management role
* Proven track record in negotiating and securing enterprise-level contracts
* Strong financial and commercial acumen with P&L awareness
* Experience drafting and reviewing contracts
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
* Analytical problem-solving skills with attention to detail
* Ability to influence cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively
* Full UK driving licence and the ability to pass a BPSS background check
Desirable:
* Experience in telecoms, connectivity, construction, or technology services
