This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Long Stratton. The Service Charge & Rent Officer will be responsible for calculating, setting, and reviewing rents and service charges in line with legislation, regulation, and internal policies. Day-to-day activities include preparing annual rent and service charge schedules, updating systems and records, and producing clear communication for tenants about changes and cost breakdowns. The role involves monitoring income, investigating variances, and working closely with colleagues in finance, housing management, and property services to ensure accuracy and value for money. The post holder will respond to tenant queries, provide clear explanations of charges, support consultations, and contribute to continuous improvement in rent and service charge processes and reporting.
