About Our Client
This is an opportunity to join a well-established organisation in Manchester dealing with industrial disease claims on a defendant basis.
Job Description
As an Industrial Disease Claims Handler you will be dealing with a caseload of industrial disease matters, mainly NIHL and asbestos related work. Your duties will include:
3. Review and assess industrial disease claims accurately and efficiently.
4. Manage a portfolio of claims from initiation to resolution.
5. Prepare and analyse legal documentation to support claims processing.
6. Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
7. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely claim resolutions.
8. Provide clear advice and updates to clients regarding their claims.
9. Monitor and report on claims progress and outcomes.
10. Ensure all case files are organised and up-to-date.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Industrial Disease Claims Handler should ideally have a minimum of 2 years experience dealing with industrial disease claims although our client will consider candidates who have experience of similar volume work such as EL/PL or motor injury claims.

12. A strong understanding of industrial disease claims and related legal frameworks.
13. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
14. Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
15. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
16. Proficiency in relevant IT systems and case management tools.
