Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist CAMHS Learning Disabilities
Location: Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust. This is a part-time role (30 hours per week).

The successful applicant will provide clinical leadership across Herefordshire and Worcestershire, with clinical work delivered in Worcestershire, and will lead development of an evidence-based therapeutic service for children and young people with co-morbid mental health and learning disability needs.
Main duties
* Act as the clinical lead for the CAMHS Learning Disability service and develop services in response to the needs of the cohort.
* Work with the leadership team to ensure a resilient, sustainable service with a well-supported team delivering evidence-based interventions.
* Provide clinical supervision to the CAMHS LD Team and receive support from senior psychology leads within the Trust.
* Develop and supervise clinical interventions and treatments for complex presentations across the life span and care settings.
* Demonstrate compassionate and inclusive leadership to staff you supervise and model best practice in service delivery.
* Manage escalations sympathetically and ensure wellbeing of patients, families and staff remains central.
* Contribute to flexible working patterns and uphold a compassionate and inclusive working culture.

Qualifications and requirements
* BSc/BA Honours degree in Psychology (2:1 or above)
* Post-graduate Doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology (or equivalent) as accredited by the BPS
* HCPC registration as a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist; eligible for Chartered Psychologist status
* Post-qualification training in evidence-based techniques for complex psychological presentations across age ranges
* Experience of leading development and organisation of psychological interventions in a clinical area
* Ability to meet travel requirements of the post
Desirable/Additional information
* Experience in training/teaching and student assessment; multi-agency/multidisciplinary collaboration
* Well-developed psychometric assessment skills; advanced knowledge of complex psychological approaches
* Ability to work across organisational and professional boundaries
