We’re looking for someone to join our talented in-house design team in Glasgow as a Graphic Designer.
What will your role look like?
As owners of the visual brand, our design team develop and deliver creative content across the business, including marketing collateral (eg publications, video, animations, etc.), and internal communications, as well as design for proposals and pitches, via our designated bids designer. Alongside marketing-driven work, the graphic designer will work closely with the bids designer and bids team to help create innovative and high-quality proposals and pitches, that are on brand and help to deliver the excellent customer experience we strive for across all we do.
The graphic designer role would suit a team player with a ‘hands on’ approach and a ‘can-do’ attitude. This is a fast-paced, fast-changing environment. Adaptability and resilience are essential, but equally, you’ll have plenty of support.

Though this is a varied role, your key tasks will include:
1. Creating compelling and impactful designs across a range of outputs including PowerPoint presentations, publications, reports, proposals, pitches and graphics for social media.
2. Assisting with video and editing work.
3. Collaborating on, or even leading, the design of graphics and materials for events.
4. Driving innovation in PowerPoint, transforming ordinary decks into engaging experiences.
5. (eg via impactful graphics, animation, embedded media) to deliver high-quality creative presentations.
6. Applying the appropriate level of design to proposal and pitch materials, ensuring they are client-centric, clear and compelling, while maintaining the integrity of Hymans Robertson’s corporate visual identity.
7. Upholding brand guidelines and having a strong knowledge of design standards.
8. Creating and maintaining specialised design elements, graphics and infographics for inclusion in pitch presentations and Word proposal documents.
9. When required, liaising with external print and production providers.

14. The ability to understand, interpret and apply complex information and processes.
15. Practical experience using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
16. Experience with After Effects and/or Premiere Pro, or a genuine willingness to learn and develop these skills.
17. Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.
18. Ideally, experience of working in a professional services or consultancy environment, and/or supporting bids, proposals or other fast‑turnaround projects.
