Permanent Vacancy – Senior Tax Accountant
Location: East Anglia (onsite in Bury St. Edmunds once a week)
Salary: Negotiable based on experience

We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable individual to join our Lifetime Planning team, providing expert advice and support to a diverse client base including private individuals, executors, trustees, and attorneys.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare personal tax returns and 60-day CGT returns for residential property disposals
2. Advise on income tax, capital gains tax, and stamp duty land tax
3. Calculate tax liabilities and advise on payments under self-assessment
4. Finalise lifetime tax affairs for deceased individuals
5. Prepare estate accounts and handle tax during the administration period
6. Draft inheritance tax forms for trusts and tax deduction certificates
7. Collaborate with cross-departmental teams, including international property specialists
8. Support and mentor junior team members
9. Promote trust and tax services internally and externally
About You
10. Chartered Accountancy/Tax qualification
11. Strong experience in tax and trust accounting, including complex estates and overseas domiciles
12. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
13. Confident working with private clients and legal professionals
