Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our clients production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machinery to produce accurate, high-quality metal parts. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate press brake machines to manufacture parts according to specifications and production schedules.

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to identify bend sequences, required tooling, and appropriate machine settings.
*
Select, install, and properly align the necessary tooling (dies, punches, etc.) for each specific job.
*
Inspect finished parts with precision measuring instruments (calipers, protractors, gauges) to verify accuracy and compliance with specifications.
*
Adjust machine settings, tooling, or materials as needed to ensure consistent quality and maintain production efficiency.
*
Perform routine maintenance on machines and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
*
Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and team members to diagnose and resolve production issues.
• Adhere to all company safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Document and record production data in accordance with company standards and reporting requirements.
Qualifications:
*
Minimum 2 years of experience operating press brake equipment in a fabrication or manufacturing setting.
*
Ability to interpret technical drawings and use precision measuring tools (calipers, protractors, etc.).
*
Knowledge of metal properties, bend allowances, and tooling setup.
*
Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical understanding.
*
Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with CNC press brakes or automated bending systems.
*
Training or certification in metal fabrication or manufacturing processes.
