This position is responsible primarily for billings and customer support for global operations at Intapp. The individual will be responsible for invoice processing across multiple geographies, documenting and updating billing processes, engaging cross-functional teams, customers, and leadership to ensure accuracy and efficiency of billing. This role will also support collections and accounts receivable as needed.
What you'll do:
1. Work cross-functionally with Operations, Revenue, Accounting, Client Relations to ensure completeness and accuracy of service & subscription billings & responsibilities
2. Co-manage the AR inbox, review disputes and process order revisions or corrections as needed
3. Participate in collection efforts
4. Ensure compliance with SOX and Company policies & procedures
5. Support the professional service operations teams with billing set up, invoicing & managing credit memos
6. Support the management of client records, AR reconciliations & flux, transaction records, credit memos and journal entries
7. Support the accounting team during month end close and financial reporting processes
8. Support business transformation efforts
9. Ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned
What you will need:
10. 3+ years of hands-on experience in subscription & professional services billing
11. A fair understanding of revenue recognition accounting rules is preferred but not required as it relates to software companies with both cloud, on-premises products & services.
12. Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, Jira, Blackline is strongly preferred
13. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills w/excellent analytical and problem-solving capability
14. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross functional teams.
15. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
16. Ability and desire to learn systems and create reporting capabilities and metrics as needed
17. Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively, meet deadlines, work with others and follow through to execute all tasks
18. Recent experience working in a dynamic fast-paced tech company environment
19. Experience with an international, multi-subsidiary organization
20. Experience working in a public company with requirements to comply with SOX
21. Bachelors degree in Accounting
22. Three years of subscription billing experience
23. Excellent skills in MS Excel (pivots, vlookups, index match…)
24. Outstanding written and oral communication skills
