Service Manager - Mental Health
Location: Staffordshire, UK
Position: Permanent, full-time
Salary: £40,000 per annum + car allowance
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager to join our team in Staffordshire, UK. As a Service Manager within our supported living facility for adults with mental health needs, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support to our residents.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the supported living facility, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
* Lead and manage a team of support staff, providing guidance, supervision, and support as needed
* Develop and implement individual care plans for residents, in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team
* Monitor and evaluate the quality of care and support provided, making necessary adjustments and improvements as needed
* Manage the budget and resources of the facility, ensuring efficient and effective use of funds
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders
* Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of staff members
* Ensure all records and documentation are accurate and up-to-date
Requirements
* Minimum of 3 years experience in a managerial role within a mental health care setting
* NVQ Level 4 or above in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
* Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of individuals
* Sound knowledge of mental health conditions and their impact on individuals
* Proven experience in budget management and resource allocation
* Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, including CQC requirements
