Job Description: We are looking for a professional and reliable HGV Class 1 Night Driver to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers to work in a dynamic environment with guaranteed shifts and competitive pay rates.
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across various locations in a safe and timely manner. We offer full-time equivalent positions with 5-6 days of work per week —no cancellations.
Immediate start is available.
Key Responsibilities: Safely operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle to deliver goods to specified destinations.
Ensure that deliveries are made on time and in accordance with company procedures.
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring it is roadworthy and compliant with safety standards.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure paperwork is completed correctly.
Follow all road traffic laws, health and safety regulations, and company guidelines.
Work collaboratively with the logistics team to ensure efficient and effective route planning.
Report any vehicle issues or delays promptly to the operations team.
Key Requirements: Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card .
6 months experience required.
A strong focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and nights as required.
No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence (preferably clean).
What We Offer: Hourly rates between £19 - £21.50 based on experience and shift.
