Join Our Mission: SEN / SEND Tutors for Young People in Warwickshire

Exciting opportunities await! We are continuously hiring to meet the diverse needs of our students.

At Targeted Provision, we are dedicated to transforming the educational landscape for young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Disabilities (SEND), including those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. Our focus extends to supporting children with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).

We are seeking passionate SEN / SEND tutors who are eager to make a real difference in the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners in Warwickshire. If you’re ready to inspire and uplift, we want you on our team!

As part of our mission, you will be supported by a dedicated team of SEN / SEND Support Specialists, ensuring that you have the resources and guidance needed to succeed in every placement.

Your Role as an SEN / SEND Tutor:

* Provide engaging tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other additional educational needs.
* Support students referred to us by local authorities and schools, guiding them through their educational and social-emotional journeys.
* Deliver flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.


Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and execute each tutoring session to meet the unique needs of your students.
* Create engaging and holistic learning experiences that foster educational and social-emotional growth.
* Complete lesson reports and provide constructive feedback on student progress.


Requirements to Join Our Team:

* Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS).
* A minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
* Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other additional educational needs.
* Knowledge of safeguarding processes.
* Enhanced DBS (we can assist with obtaining this at cost if needed).
* Two professional references.
* Must be based in the UK with the right to work, even for remote assignments.

It is essential that you promote the health, safety, and well-being of children and young people while adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.


Employment Details:

* This position involves engaging with us as a Worker for short-term assignments as they arise.
* You will work under a contract for service and be paid via PAYE.
* We do not guarantee a set amount of work or expenses coverage.
* Our insurance covers the work you do for us.
* This is not a self-employed tutoring or teaching position.

Relevant Experience:

If you have a background in teaching, you may have held roles such as:

* SENCo (Special Education Needs Coordinator)
* SLD / MLD Teacher
* Autism / ADHD Support Teacher
* Intervention Specialist
* Ex-Teacher

Additionally, if you come from a therapeutic or learning support background, you might have experience as:

* Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
* Educational Therapist
* Speech and Language Therapist
* Educational Psychologist
* Inclusion Coordinator
