What you'll be doing
* Defining and achieving results that align with the strategic objectives, focusing on continuous improvement, enhancing productivity, and ensuring cost efficiency.
* Assess new business opportunities to ensure alignment with compliance, risk, and strategic requirements.
* Contribute to bid qualification forums and provide early visibility of security risks and requirements.
* Determine appropriate security classification for bid documentation.
* Produce clear, evidence based security responses that demonstrate compliance and strengthen bid scoring.
* Review contractual documents to identify security, regulatory, and legislative obligations.
The skills you will need
* Minimum of three years' experience in a security governance or compliance-focused role (e.g., Audit, Risk Management, Contract Management, Policy & Standards).
* Strong working knowledge of ISO 27001.
* Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively using a balanced, risk-based approach.
* Experience in conducting risk assessments and developing risk models.
* Skilled in negotiating contractual terms using a balanced, risk-based approach to resolve differences constructively.
* Minimum 5 years UK working history and SC (Security Clearance) is required.
