Who You Are You are a dedicated legal professional with experience in conveyancing and property law, particularly in local government settings. As an admitted Solicitor, Barrister, or Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives, you possess the right of audience in all County Court proceedings or are on the verge of obtaining this qualification. You have recent advocacy experience and are committed to continuous improvement, cost-effective working, and delivering exceptional customer care to align with the Council's vision of 'putting our residents first'. What the Job Involves This role requires you to conduct complex and routine conveyancing work, including acquisitions, disposals, and sales to Council tenants. You will navigate easements, boundaries, restrictive covenants, and compulsory purchase orders, ensuring proper authority and compliance. You will also undertake special projects, handle court cases, serve notices, and liaise with various internal and external stakeholders. As a non-management position, you may also assist in training peers and new team members.
