Location: Rugby, Warwickshire
Salary: £14.13phr
Shifts: 4 on 4 off 12 hour shift 6am till 6pm
Join a Leading Logistics Team as a Transport Operations Coordinator! Are you a proactive and organised individual with a background in logistics, transport, or supply chain operations? We’re looking for a Transport Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team and help deliver high-quality service across the UK and Europe.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2+ years of experience in transport admin or operations, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys problem-solving and working collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and coordinate transport operations from subcontractor warehouses to processing centres
2. Manage inbound/outbound delivery schedules and bookings
3. Liaise with hauliers, customers, and internal departments via phone and email
4. Monitor deliveries and collections to ensure smooth execution
5. Maintain accurate records and update transport schedules
6. Resolve booking issues, rebook missed loads, and communicate delays
7. Support KPI/SLA tracking and ensure performance targets are met
8. Assist with transport performance reviews and internal reporting
What We’re Looking For:
9. Minimum 2 years' experience in transport or logistics operations
10. Strong admin skills and attention to detail
11. Good communication skills (verbal and written)
12. Experience working with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
13. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
14. Previous experience in retail supply chain is a bonus
15. European or international logistics knowledge is desirable
