This is a great opportunity for an experienced Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to further develop the Step 2 service provision within Lambeth IAPT and support the senior management team in expanding the step 2 offer within the service. The post holder(s) will report to the Step 2 Leads and participate in meetings with the senior management team. The successful applicant will be proficient in telephone triage assessments and CBT-based guided self-help interventions, with experience working with common mental health problems within primary care. Opportunities include co-running clinical skills groups for Trainee PWP’s and delivering clinical and case management supervision.
Post-holder responsibilities include:
1. Hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Low Intensity CBT Interventions and be BABCP registered (or BPS).
2. Have at least 12 months of experience as a Qualified PWP.
3. Be highly organized and motivated, capable of managing their own time and caseload effectively.
4. Support the wellbeing of the Step 2 team, including organizing and attending social events.
5. Support the Access team with triage supervision and management plans.
6. Offer evidence-based guided self-help interventions for common mental health disorders.
7. Participate in recruitment, induction, and training of Trainee PWP’s, including delivering fortnightly clinical skills groups.
8. Undertake weekly clinical supervision and monthly case management supervision of Trainee PWP’s.
9. Attend and contribute to meetings with the Senior Management Team, demonstrating problem-solving skills.
10. Approach challenges proactively and respond constructively to feedback from the Step 2 team.
