Finance Assistant– Belfast — £28,000 pa — 4:30pm Finish

Key Responsibilities
* Monitoring accounts email inboxes to ensure queries and communications are picked up and directed appropriately.
* Processing purchase ledger invoices, ensuring accurate 3-way matching between purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices.
* Completing monthly supplier statement reconciliations to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
* Investigating and resolving invoice or payment discrepancies in a timely and accurate manner.
* Processing subcontractor invoices, ensuring all supporting documentation is complete and compliant.
* Assisting with the preparation and execution of month-end payment runs.
* Providing support to the wider finance team as required to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
* Carrying out general administrative tasks, including data entry, document management, and filing.
What youll need to succeed
* Previous experience of working in a similar role.
* Strong IT skills including Excel.
* Ability to work within a team.
* Sage / Xero or equivalent experience
