We're looking for a highly creative Lead Open World Designer who has a passion for building AAA open world work for THELAST SENTINEL. The ideal candidate will have experience leading and mentoring members of a design team and would have worked on 3rd person action games.
Responsibilities
* Create gameplay content, scenarios, characters, and systems that enrich the open world gameplay experience.
* Collaborate with game designers, narrative designers, and artists to create engaging and immersive gameplay experiences for players
* Create compelling activities that enhance the players open world gameplay experience
* Review design documentations and give feedback to members of the team
* Work with the leadership team to help refine processes and workflows
* Collaborate and work closely with different department Leads and Directors
* Experience building open world games.
* Good game design skills including documentation, planning, tuning, pacing, rewards, and scripting
* Experience in establishing ecologies, ecosystems, factions, and AI behaviour
* Experience with modern game engines and visual scripting (Unreal, Unity, etc.)

Important:
The interview process for the Senior Ambient Designer role is made up of 3 stages:
First interview (45 – 60 minutes) – An interview to discuss your experience and working history relating to the position with members of our Design team. In return, we will provide a full overview of the role, life at the studio as well as answer any questions you may have.
Second Interview (30 minutes) - An interview with our Studio Creative Director to discuss your experience, ways of working and the position on offer.
Final interview (30 minutes) – A final Interview with our Studio Head and Studio Production Director. This will be a chance for you to get to know the Senior Management team and all the things that make Lucid, Lucid! You will have a lot of opportunities to ask any questions about the studio and Culture.
