We are seeking an experienced Temporary Administrator / Assistant who thrives on being organised and enjoys variety, for a well-established, not-for-profit organisation specialising in commercial and community property and leasehold management services.
The successful candidate must be immediately available, capable and proactive, with the ability to provide essential support to a senior executive, during a period of organisational change. This is a close-knit organisation with a genuine sense of community and shared purpose, based in bright, modern offices with excellent transport links, just a short walk from the tube.
Applicants must be self‑motivated and practically minded; someone who can roll up their sleeves, cut through a busy inbox and keep things running smoothly behind the scenes, providing a trusted pair of hands to keep things on track.
Applicants must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, a confident proactive approach, and the ability to use their own initiative and hit the ground running. A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel, is essential.
Hours: M – F 9am – 5pm | 1 Day WFH
Duties include but are not limited to:
* Managing / triaging a high-volume inbox; drafting responses on behalf of senior manager, as appropriate
* Diary management, including scheduling and coordinating meetings
* Prioritising incoming requests and correspondence, flagging urgent matters
* Preparing documents, reports and correspondence
* Taking notes or actions in meetings and following up as required
* Acting as a first point of contact for senior management
* Providing general administrative support, as required
* Helping to maintain organised filing and record‑keeping systems
