We are investing in our farm management and seek a highly competent Assistant Farm Manager to join our team at Swale Farm. The role is farm-based, working in a modern environment where hygiene and noise are considerations.

Hours of Work: Monday to Sunday, 6 days a week, 07:00 - 16:30
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain optimal environmental conditions for bird welfare and biosecurity
* Feed, vaccinate, and grade birds
* Ensure site maintenance and standards are met
* Supervise staff and third parties, ensuring health and safety compliance
* Maintain accurate records as per legislation and company standards
* Operate within cost management parameters
* Uphold animal welfare, hygiene, and husbandry standards
* Assist in other farm sites as needed
* Cover in the Farm Manager’s absence
* Report to the Farm Manager
Requirements:
* Own transport essential for site travel
* Experience with livestock, preferably poultry
* NVQ/Diploma Level 3 in Poultry Production or similar qualification (training provided)
* Effective communication and people skills
* Willingness to learn and self-motivate
* Ability to work independently and perform manual duties
* Basic IT skills
