Serving quality breakfast, brunch and dinner in a warm, welcoming setting, the bistro has a strong focus on fresh, seasonal food, great coffee and approachable hospitality. Designed to be a neighbourhood favourite, The Millhouse Bistro aims to become a destination that locals return to again and again.
Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate and reliable Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. This is a hands on role focused on delivering consistently high standards across breakfast, brunch and evening service. You will take ownership of your section, support junior chefs and play a key part in the smooth day to day running of the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
Run and manage your section during service
Prepare and present dishes to consistently high standards
Ensure strong prep, organisation and service readiness
Maintain high food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards
Support stock control and minimise waste
Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef
Assist with training and supporting junior team members
Ensure consistent portioning, presentation and recipe adherence
Contribute ideas to menu development and seasonal changes
Uphold and embed The Millhouse Bistro brand values
Skills and Experience
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a quality kitchen
Strong organisation and communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
High attention to detail and pride in presentation
A positive, team focused attitude
Passion for fresh food and guest experience
