CNC Turner Skelmersdale Mon-Fri 8am-4.30pm CNC Turner The Role This position is working for a well-established manufacturer, supplying into 16 different industries. This is a world-class manufacturing facility, with an extensive range of technical capabilities. You will be expected to work to company standards & machining parts to meet customer specifications. All parts are either one off’s or two off’s. CNC Turner Main Responsibilities · Offline programming through One CNC (load program onto machine). · Online program through Fanuc, set and operate CNC Lathes. · Quality check machined components. CNC Turner The Candidate · Must be time served (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent). · Must have at least 3 years experience in a similar position. · Must be able to read, interpret and understand engineering drawings. · Must be able to read, understand and write Fanuc programs. · Must be able to establish tooling requirements. · Must be able to generate programs offline, using CAPT CAD/CAM, or One CNC. · Ideally have experience cutting exotic materials (super duplex, duplex, 718, x750, Hastelloy, Money). · Must be able to use steadies to machine components up to 5M in length. · Must be able to use a range of measuring instruments. · Must be able to document and report required data for traceability. · Must have a good understanding of ISO 9001. · Work safely to company safety protocols. · Good planning, organization and communication skills.
