The Role
The Religious Studies Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality Religious Education across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5 depending on experience. The role requires a thoughtful, engaging approach that inspires students to explore faith, ethics and moral responsibility within a Catholic context.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering engaging Religious Studies lessons in line with the Catholic ethos
* Supporting students’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development
* Assessing, tracking and reporting on student progress effectively
* Contributing to collective worship, liturgical life and school faith activities
* Working collaboratively within the Religious Education department and wider school community
Candidate Profile
* Qualified Religious Studies Teacher (QTS, PGCE or equivalent)
* Ability to teach Religious Studies at KS3–KS4 (KS5 experience desirable)
* Commitment to Catholic education and willingness to support the faith life of the school
* Strong classroom management and positive behaviour strategies
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Right to work in the UK
