Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Search Manager to join JACK RYAN in Glasgow. This role is key to driving SEO strategy, campaign performance, and client satisfaction through innovative, data‑driven approaches.
Key Responsibilities
 * Developing and executing SEO strategies aligned with client objectives and business goals.
 * Managing day‑to‑day SEO operations, ensuring deliverables are on time, within budget, and of high quality.
 * Acting as the primary SEO subject‑matter expert and main point of contact for assigned clients.
 * Identifying growth opportunities and creating account plans in partnership with Account teams.
 * Building and maintaining cross‑functional relationships with Client Services, Media, Content, and Creative teams.
 * Planning, executing, and reporting SEO campaigns, ensuring measurable results and achievement of KPIs.
 * Providing guidance and mentorship to the SEO team to foster professional growth.
 * Conducting audits, analyses, and quarterly business reviews with clients.
 * Optimising SEO delivery processes and templates to improve efficiency.
 * Staying up to date with evolving search trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in SEO and digital marketing.
Our Ideal Candidate
Looking for someone who manages internet marketing activities focused on SEO tactics, performance analysis, and content creation/implementation.
 * Hands‑on technical knowledge and excellent client communication and presentation skills.
 * Prior account management and SEO experience.
 * Experience using tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, GSConsole, Google Marketing Platform.
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 * Strong analytical, problem‑solving, organisational, and time‑management skills.
 * Excellent project‑management skills.
 * Campaign strategy and implementation experience, working effectively with management and team members.
Qualifications & Skills
 * Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent high‑achieving A‑Level.
 * 3‑5+ years in SEO, search engine marketing, website management, or integrating SEO with other channels.
 * Proficiency in keyword research tools, competitive analysis, Google Analytics, Search Console.
 * Experience with technical SEO implementation, on‑page SEO, and site architecture improvements.
 * Understanding of paid search and how SEO and paid search work together.
 * Strong Microsoft/Google Suite skills (Docs, Sheets).
 * Comfortable presenting to C‑level contacts.
 * Advanced problem‑solving skills for website optimisation.
 * Passion for online marketing and enterprise‑level problem‑solving for clients, specifically in SEO.
