Fawkes & Reece are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and professional Electrical Project Manager to join their team on a permanent based in Swansea. This is an excellent opportunity to lead and successfully deliver electrical projects across the commercial, industrial, and public sectors throughout South West Wales. Covering Swansea to Haverfordwest.
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for managing projects from initial planning through to final handover, ensuring all works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage electrical projects from pre-construction through to completion
• Develop and maintain project programmes, budgets, and resource plans
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Ensure full compliance with current electrical regulations and health & safety legislation
• Oversee procurement of materials and subcontractor packages
• Conduct regular site visits and chair progress meetings
• Monitor financial performance, including valuations, variations, and cost control
• Ensure accurate project documentation, certification, and handover processes
Essential Requirements
• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within commercial or industrial environments
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical installations and systems
• Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications & Certifications
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent recognised qualification)
• City & Guilds 18th Edition (BS 7671 Wiring Regulations)
• ECS/CSCS Black Manager Card (or working towards)
• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
• HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering (desirable)
• First Aid at Work (desirable)
