Who are we looking for?
We are looking to appoint an experienced SENCo who:
7. Can lead the strategic development of SEN (Special Educational Needs) provision across our school.
8. Is a strong classroom practitioner
9. Can manage and oversee the school’s SEN register and ensure effective support for all pupils with additional needs.
10. Coordinate and manage Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and ensure statutory requirements are met.
11. Can lead, motivate and line-manage teaching assistants (TAs) supporting SEN pupils.
12. Can support teachers in differentiating the curriculum to meet diverse learning needs.
13. Can oversee and coordinate interventions for pupils with SEN.
14. Can liaise effectively with parents, carers, external agencies, and professionals.
15. Can monitor and report on the progress of pupils with SEN to SLT and governors.
